Search Services was founded in 2000 by Heather and Tony Gray, and continues to be one of the leading employment agencies in Houston today. Heather was a thriving recruiter for a large national firm. Tony successfully launched a technology startup. Both worked in the audit practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
This combined breadth and depth of experience led them to start a recruiting firm focused on accounting and finance. They soon added IT recruiting with the help of business partner David Young, who had a technology consulting background at Ernst & Young. Quickly thereafter, industry veteran Denise Madrid joined Search Services, leading the office administrative division. These four partners manage a team of 20 recruiters in three divisions. All divisions include both staffing and recruiting services.
